Creating Opportunities

CK Consulting works with corporations, school districts and universities, including medical schools, to develop strategies for successfully integrating persons with disabilities into employment, school and university opportunities.

Building Bridges

CK Consulting President, Cynthia Kidder, has been building bridges and partnerships between the educational and corporate arenas and the special needs community for more than 15 years. She is the country's leading non-medical expert on Down syndrome and is a national advocate and thought leader on disability awareness and change within schools and the workplace.

In addition to leading CK Consulting, Ms. Kidder is the founder of Band of Angels Foundation, an international outreach organization that promotes the potential of individuals with Down syndrome and other cognitive impairments and serves as the world's leading disseminator of information on Down syndrome. She is co-author, with Harvard-trained Brian Skotko, M.D., of the award winning Common Threads: Celebrating Life with Down Syndrome and through Band of Angels produces a variety of products to increase acceptance of persons with disabilities. Ms. Kidder is a graduate of Allegheny College in Meadville PA.
